Our new project, Write Quest, will run from 29th October to 14th December on Tuesday evenings (4.15pm to 5.45pm) and two Saturday field trips! Its open to 13-18-year-olds of all experience and ability levels. You don’t have to already be a writer.
The camp will explore different genres and forms like prose, poetry, and scriptwriting under the expert guidance of one of our facilitators. Participants will be able to write independently for topics and forms of their choice and will also work as a group on a final project. The process, and the final project itself, will be decided on and led by our participants so they have creative control and are able to work on something they’re passionate about.
The collaboration will also be cross-border as the project will pair our group and Fighting Words Dublin’s group for some remote collaboration as well as working together in person during the two Saturday fieldtrips. The project will then end with a showcase of the young people’s work.
