We have developed several templates and videos to help teachers, group leaders and parents facilitate more creative writing with their young people. These are available free of charge but donations via our Donate page are very welcome and will allow us to continue to create more free resources for schools, groups and families. We also have a podcast created with our young Write Club members and Tiny Masterclass videos developed in partnership with Queen's University Belfast Seamus Heaney Centre and Kelly McCaughrain as Children's Writing Fellow.

Fighting Words and Queen's University of Belfast together created Tiny Masterclass videos through Fighting Words volunteer and QUB Children's Writing Fellow Kelly McCaughrain.
Below is the first video, a masterclass in Flash Fiction by Kelly McCaughrain. Other masterclasses include Postcard Prompts, I Remember prompts to get unstuck, People Watching, making Sound Maps, Writing about Food, Points of View, and Writing Odes. They are available on the QUB website here.
Podcast
Members of our teen writing group, Write Club, took part in a podcast where they discussed finding inspiration, how to build a fictional world, and the best ways of overcoming writers block. Listen to their chats with award-winning children's author Kelly McCaughrain here:
