Special Projects

We run a range of special projects throughout the year, including: Young Playwrights projects, Journalism Club, Word Warriors, summer camps and more.

Starling Revival

In partnership with Groundwork NI, this programme will be a mix of field trips, in-person and online meet-ups, and creative writing workshops for young people aged 16-25. On our field trips, we'll visit different businesses and organisations around Belfast where people are finding ways to tackle climate change. While those with an interest in climate action are welcome, this isn't neccessary for taking part. Starling Revival is for anyone who thinks they might enjoy some creative writing and the opportunity to learn about activism through the arts.

There is no expectation that a particpant is able to attend every session.

The project will end with the publication of a magazine of particpants work, a podcast made from their recordings, and an August showcase where family and friends can come celebrate and see their work.
