We run a range of special projects throughout the year, including: Young Playwrights projects, Journalism Club, Word Warriors, summer camps and more.

Current projects:

Creative Connections

We are currently in need of a group from the Belfast Metropolitan Area (Belfast, Lisburn, Newtownabbey, North Down, Castlereagh and Carrickfergus) from the start of April to the end of May.

From October 2024-June 2025, we will work with community groups in Belfast, Newry, Armagh, Louth, Monaghan, Dublin and Cork. The project is open to young people aged 15-24 and each programme will be delivered by professional artists. Shared Agenda for Peace

Our new community project, Shared Agenda for Peace, is an exciting opportunity for youth groups in Newry, Mourne and Down and Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon! The project will have participants engage in a creative writing and peace building programme with Fighting Words NI that helps build relationships and connections through shared experiences.

We have a lot of flexibility in regard to fitting the timeline and content of the delivery to what works best for your youth group. The project also provides development and training opportunities for all levels of the organisation; the youth group participants, volunteers, youth workers, and governing bodies. Learn more HERE.
