FREE IN-PERSON WORKSHOP – How Rap Can Upgrade Your Storytelling, Songwriting & Poetry
Saturday 29th March, 12-1:30pm, Seamus Heaney Centre at Queens University Belfast
Join us in the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queens University Belfast on Saturday 29th March, 12-13:30, for a workshop delivered by some seriously rap talent, rappers and facilitators Kosyne, Barrowclough, and Joel the Custodian are coming to Belfast to perform their London Symphony Orchestra-commissioned show as part of the Imagine! Festival. They are offering this session to anyone aged 13-18.
This workshop isn't just for rappers, but for writers of all types. Listening to Lil Simz, Tyler the Creator, Eminem, DOOM, Doechii, Kojaque and Kendrick Lamar, this workshop will introduce you to new ways of approaching your own writing, storytelling and lyricism.

Creative Connections
We are currently in need of a group from the Belfast Metropolitan Area (Belfast, Lisburn, Newtownabbey, North Down, Castlereagh and Carrickfergus) from the start of April to the end of May.
From October 2024-June 2025, we will work with community groups in Belfast, Newry, Armagh, Louth, Monaghan, Dublin and Cork. The project is open to young people aged 15-24 and each programme will be delivered by professional artists.
