Chapter One
“My name is Jeff,” said the chicken to Conductor Duck. They were in a pond that was blue with big lily pads and frogs.
“Do you want to go for a splash?” said Conductor Duck in a happy voice.
“No!” said Jeff and he waddled away, waddle waddle. Jeff was a chicken and he couldn’t swim.
Conductor Duck ran after Jeff and saw a poisonous spider. The spider was 10ft x 40ft tall.
The spider caught Jeff and took him into a cave. Conductor Duck followed.
Three days later, Conductor Duck and Jeff had a new home in a tree…
