Chapter 1
Sean and Cara were on their way to school. All they could see was buses and people. It was very cold and windy so they were wrapped up in scarves and hats.
“I forgotten my books,” said Sean.
“Are you serious?” asked Cara. “Again? You always do this.”
“It’s ok, it’ll be fine,” said Sean.
They waited at the bus stop because it was cold. Cara’s friend Stephanie walked up.
“Hi,” said Stephanie, giving Cara a hug. “Oh my God, it’s cold!” Stephanie had forgotten her scarf.
“Here, take my scarf,” said Sean unravelling it from around his neck while blushing pure red.
“Ach, thank you,”said Stephanie.
Cara saw what he’d done and knew that he liked her.
“There’s our bus,” said Cara pushing them away from each other.
On the bus, Sean and Stephanie went to sit beside each other, but Cara pushed Sean out of the way and sat beside Stephanie.
Sean sat down by himself. At the next stop, Sean’s friend Lucas came to sit beside him.
“What’s wrong with them two?” asked Lucas.
“I dunno,” replied Sean. Nobody knew that he secretly like Stephanie but him.
The bus stopped at the school and they all got off.
“Oh no, there’s Josh!” said Stephanie as she spotted her ex standing outside the school…
