Perfect Day

Lillie came over to visit her twin sister Tilly two weeks before the wedding, to help her pick her dress.

They walked into Perfect Day and flipped through the catalogue of dresses.

‘Can I help you?’ asked a tall, bubbly man as he whipped out a dress on a hanger.

‘Yes, please,’ said Tilly. ‘I would like a lace dress with a long fishtail and a sweetheart neckline.’

The dress the man was holding had all different materials on it. He pointed at the patches. ‘This is our new collection of materials,’ he said.

Tilly took loads of different dresses and went to the changing room to try them on. Ten minutes later, she poked her head out of the curtain.

‘Lillie, look at this! It’s the perfect dress and the perfect fit!’ she cried joyfully. But her sister was gone.

‘She thieved our champagne!’ said the man, throwing down the fabric dress and fixing his tailored suit.

Lillie’s phone was lying on the sofa next to the bucket of melting ice. Tilly picked it up: five missed calls from Sammy <3 …
