Mason had just recovered from an injury. He had sprained his wrist two weeks prior.
“I need to act okay so I can still box,” he thought to himself as he slumped onto his bed.
He’d come home from a terrible day of training. He needed to keep up his training because he didn’t want anybody else surpassing him on the TV show, The Unbreakable Fist.
Mason felt really depressed because his Mum and Dad were constantly signing him up for loads of competitions, and he just wanted to have a long rest. All they wanted was the money.
“I always feel like I’m just being used.”
Mason was always under pressure to be the best at every match. His Dad would give him a hard time when he didn’t do well and would’ve yelled, “YOU DIDN’T DESERVE TO WIN THAT!”
At the training centre the next day, he suddenly blacked out. All he heard was ambulance sirens…
