Story Summary:
It was always dim in that school. There was nowhere in that god-forsaken school that wasn’t covered in a thick smudge of gloom.
I promised I’d take Suzie out of that place, away from the weight of shadows lying on her chest.
She was transferring in three days.
But a boy holding a gun introduced himself at parents evening, with a stiff frown and wicked eyes.
