Frozen lake

Story Summary:
Dark spots danced.
Everything went heavy.
Dark spots danced.
Everything went heavy.
In California, as the sky darkened, I set off onto the beach. There was a chilly breeze in the air but I was hoping not to be gone long. The beach was filled with salty sea water fumes.
I am the monster,
A ghastly beast.
No being will tolerate me,
None I’ve met, at least.

From dusk until noon,
The old man Muldoon,
They walked, the cold air letting their sharp, short breaths form mist visible in the darkening street. Hands clasped together, a pact that if one were to fall, the other would go down with them.
It was always dim in that school. There was nowhere in that god-forsaken school that wasn’t covered in a thick smudge of gloom.
Heavy as a ton of bricks,
As it settles in your heart,
On Halloween night, as I walked down the street
I found a new door to ask for a treat,
